I booked this property for myself, my wife and three young kids for an overnight stay for a family members grad party. We went to this property for our check-in at 7pm. At the grad party we were informed by several people who were born, raised and work in the city they would not feel safe in this area of this property especially at night. Upon our arrival we were extremely disturbed by the surroundings and people in this area. The streets surrounding the entrance of this property were littered with homeless people many of which were clearly on hard drugs. The entrance provided to us by the management company to this property was gated off due to construction with a man clearly on drugs passed out standing up slumped on the building next to the gate. There was not safe area to exit our vehicle with our luggage and small children to enter the property. We live 20 minutes outside of Detroit. We have stayed in Detroit and many other cities. This area is not safe and we would highly encourage families especially with small children to be mindful of the area this is in before booking this property.

Great location, clean and bright home with comfy beds and ample space for hanging out with friends and/or family. Would definitely stay again!Please note: There is a construction site directly next door for an upcoming community recreation center which will be great when finished but may be of noise concerns to guests staying during the week - Monday to Friday. Fortunately, we were marginally bothered by it due to our schedule and plans.
