Spacious and Modern 3BR near Downtown/Walnut Hills

The property meet all our needs - room for our family to be together, yet privacy when we needed a break. Very updated and clean. Walking distance from a variety of restaurants and close to why we came to Cincinnati - the ZOO! We had a great experience!!! Thanks!!!

Let me start by saying that the interior of the house is beautifully updated and very clean. I wish we could have stayed in it. The house is located in walnut hills but it’s right near the border with Avondale, which, I’m pretty sure, is one of the more crime ridden neighborhoods in Cincinnati. We arrived at the house at 9 pm and there was somebody sleeping outside of the home in a damaged suv, and a home across the street had the front porch fenced off which made it looked condemned, so didn’t feel safe about sleeping there, but I went up to the house to walk through it anyways before I brought my wife and three children into it, and discovered that the front door was left unlocked, presumably by the cleaners (because that’s what management had alluded to). Upon walking through the home, I found a door (that could not be locked) that had access to the basement and attic space, which had plenty of room for anyone to hide out. It was at that time that I decided that I didn’t feel safe having my family sleep in the home and we left to find a hotel. I messaged the company that night and told them the situation and that we were not going to stay at the property because of safety concerns. They did not offer to review any cameras or have a property representative walk through attic and basement space at that time. When I asked for a partial refund days later, they refused and the lady was rude and talked over me. Would not recommend if you value safety.

The property and location were just as described. Inside was completely renovated and very nice. The management was outstanding from a communication and instruction perspective. Thanks!
